Week 28 & 29: Lake Atitlán

You might be wondering why the title has week 28 & 29. That is because it has been really chill in San Marcòs, so I thought I could add what happened in week 28 and 29 together. So….

For the whole of week 28 I had to do only 1 school; my distance ed school! So it was quite a chill week. The exciting thing about Monday was how we went to Pad Thai. It. Was. DELICIOUS!

It was a really really chill week, so there is not much to say. There was one thing that was quite exciting. One day we went to the reserve, and it was really fun.

While I am talking about the reserve there is a fun game in the kayak that me and the girls always played at the reserve. It was super duper fun!

Anyway, the water was soooo clear I could nearly see rocks under water from like 25 metres away! It was AMAZING!

The next day me and my dad went for a sunset kayak. And it was B. E. A. U. T. I. F. U. L.

On Friday I caught up with my school friends back in Australia on a face time call. It was really nice to catch up with them and see all of their faces.

The next day me and the girls and mum learned how to embroider. Embroidering is a type of knitting, but a bit harder. And all through the 2 weeks we worked on making a flower with the technique of embroidering. It was very fun.

All through the week there was a volcano that kept on erupting, like CRAZY! One day it exploded about 10 times in an hour! It. Was. So. Awesome!

On the first day of week 29 I got my hair dyed a greenish and blueish sort of colour. It looked awesome!

All through the rest of week 29 there was sleepovers, playdates, and more sleepovers! But something that was VERY, VERY sad, was how Safie and Jett left back to New Zealand. 😭. IT WAS SOOOOOOOOO SAD!!! But there was one thing that the girls gave me to remember them by. They gave a friendship bracelet and a few photos and an AMAZING necklace. It was a sad but happy day. The sad thing was that Safie and Jett left, but the happy thing was that I noticed that I am very lucky to feel sad for them leaving, instead of feeling happy. Because that means that the girls were my happy place in San Marcos.
