On the first day of week 33 we flew to Colombia! It wasn’t that long of a flight. Then we had arrived in Colombia. And Colombia was so much prettier than I remember it was. There were mountains and lots of nature.

The next day we went on a walking tour around Bogotà. It was really cool. Then after that we went home for a few hours. Then we went on a gondola up a mountain to see the sunset! It was beautiful. Especially with the city and the hills. It was soo cool. But then it was the end of the day.

On Wednesday we went on a biiggg bus ride. It was about 9 hours! And then after that bus ride we had to go on another bus ride that was 1 hour! I played games for the whole 9 hours, and read a new book that I just got called…. (I forgot!)? I read 10 chapters. And I watched Fuller House (watch it!) while playing a game called Subway Surfers (get the app!). On the way we stoped at a nice restaurante. It had lots of Colombiana (Colombian) food. Yo tengo solo huevos y unos arroz (I had only eggs and some rice.). Mi Español está ok (my Spanish is ok). It wasn’t the best day but we tried to make it fun by going to a game place. But sadly kids were not aloud to go there after 06:00 pm, and it was 09:00 pm. So we ended up at our new hotel that was just ok.
The next day we did a big hike. It was 12 km in the Andes! To get there we had to go on a thing called a willie. Willies are like taxis, but much funner! People can stand on the back of one of the willies and no one would tell them to hop off! Sadly kids can’t hang off the back like adults can 😭. So it wasn’t as fun. Then when we had arrived at the hike, it was BEAUTIFUL! On the hike we walked through a farm, over a river (we crossed lots of bridges that were hanging over a river, and they were like the ones in movies. They were also wobbly. Mum didn’t allow me or dad to try to make it wobble (but we still did!). We also went through rainforests, cloud forests, and so many more cool places. If you tried to look somewhere without seeing a cow or a horse, you would not be able to do it there were soo many! It was crazy. Then when we got to the top of one of the Andes Mountains, we had a beautiful view of the tallest palm trees in the whole entire world! They were crazy tall. The were from 60 – 80 metres high! It was super cool, and super cold. So I kept on saying “Can we go now! Can we go now!”. And then when we did go I raced mum down the stairs, and I won! Yay! On the way back we took a willie to home.

Random fact about the latinowombat trip:
On this trip I am trying my very best to get a cat or a dog. And I have got both my parents on a maybe for a cat! And they made a deal with me that if I do 10 hikes that is 10km or more, or an overnight hike, I could get a dog or a cat! And so far on this trip I have done 2! Only 8 more to go. They would not let me count the 64km (31 miles) in Columbia! And that was 4 whole nights! But I am trying to convince them to do 8 more hikes that are 10 km! Wish me luck. 🐱 or 🐶 (give me a recommendation on the reply section!) Thanks. 👋
On Saturday it was a very exciting day. We were going…. Horse riding!!! The horse that the people thought I would suit the most was a brown one called Ben. Ben had an attitude, loved to push in, and never listened to me. It was annoying but fun. The guide had to connect a rope to me and Ben because Ben was so energetic! It was super duper fun. It went for five hours, and it was only $50! And when we went horse riding in Texas, it was $50 USD for one hour! It was crazy cheap! It. Was. AWESOME!

After horse riding we went to a bar that had a fun game. You had to throw a rock, and then it would hit an explosive! And the explosive would catch on fire or turn into smoke. It was really cool. I won the game because I set off 3 or more bombs, and my parents only got 2. I WON! Yay. Then we started to head back home and went to bed.
In the morning, we just chilled. But in the afternoon we went to a really cheap place ($6 for 2 meals!). It wasn’t just cheap, it was also really yummy. We didn’t really do anything after that.
The next day we went on a bus ride to Medellin. It was 9 hours to get there!
The End.
