Week 1: San Diego and Los Angeles

Hi this is the first post I have ever done!
What I am going to be talking about is San Diego!
To get to San Diego me, my mum and my dad had to fly for 10 hours on a plane and drive 2 hours in a car.
Today in San Diego the temperature is 13 degrees. It is so so cold 🥶.

The next day we went on-a bush walk around some cliffs.
When we went back home to sleep we had a 15 hour sleep-in!😴
In the morning we went to see some seals and sea lions .
They were very loud avd made burping noises.

That night we sat in the Ute whilst watching the sun come down.

The next day we went to the San Diego zoo, and it is the best zoo in the world!
The zoo had so many different animals that it took 1 whole day to walk around!
No offence mum but today’s lunch was even worse than pumpkin.🤢
My absolute favourite animals were the flamingos 🦩, gorillas 🦍, and the polar bears 🐻‍❄️ .

Today was a very exiting day!
It was an exiting day because we were going to LEGOLAND!!!
In lego land we went on roller coasters, in 4d theatre’s and so much more!
We were staying at The lego land hotel for one night in a kingdom themed room and there was a castle hotel just next door.
For dinner we ate hamburgers and fries.
For the whole of dinner we played with Lego all night!

The next day we went to Hollywood!
In Hollywood we saw the Hollywood sign 👇🏻.

And at the top of the hill there was the observatory with lots of fun facts about space.

I’m about to tell you some of the fun facts right now:

• an eclipse of the moon happens when the moon moves into Earth’s shadow.
• this event can only occur at full moon
• for several hours we can watch the moon grow darker as it moves deeper into shadow

I found it really interesting that that we can watch the moon grow darker as it moves into shadow.

That night we went to an ice hockey game with the ducks vs sharks-and at the end it got really rough because one player from each team had a massive fight and there was a lot of hitting and punching.

Today was even better than yesterday because we went to DISNEY LAND!!!!
There were sooo many different rides that it could have taken you two days to get around the whole park!
In Disney land my favourite ride was a ride that was a roller coaster and it had a loop the loop and went really fast that your hair would go backwards.

That was the first week of my holiday!
