Week 27: Lake Atitlán

On the first day of week 27 Bodhi asked me if I wanted a playdate. I said yes. And then after that we had a really nice lunch at a Pad Thai place, which had delicious food. For dinner mum cooked a really nice meal, that tasted like chocolate pudding and Oreos mixed together 😋🤤.

On Tuesday it was very unique, but it may have been the best day ever! First I’m going to say the normal news. So we had breakfast, I went to school, and then after all the normal stuff we went to another family’s house for dinner. At their place we did all sorts of fun things, like; kayaking, fireworks just off a deck, movie watching, and we ate AMAZING food. It was super duper fun. The other unique thing that happened on Tuesday was…. So we were watching our show (No Good Nick) and then an unexpected visitor came by our door and said “MEOW!” IT WAS A CAT! A cat had showed up at our door! I called it Lucy. And from that day on she kept on coming to our house. I suggested to adopt it for the month that we were staying in San Marcos for, but mum and dad are thinking about it. But I think by the end of the month we will have a pet cat 🐈🐱😃🎉!

On Wednesday at school all the kids in my class did hand wrestling competitions against me! It was crazy. On one of the rounds I beat my teacher and won 5q ($1) !!! And everyone in the class started cheering in Spanish! I LOVED IT SOOOO MUCH. So then I was walking back home for dinner with 5q ($1) in my pocket 💪💸🥳.

On Friday I went to school and there was a BIG parade on. And when I say parade, I mean proper parade. A San Marcos parade. And San Marcos loves loud noises, big flags, and all of that sort of stuff. It. Was. Crazy. 🥳📣

On Saturday my mum, dad and I hosted a big barbeque with all the people we knew in San Marcos that wanted to come. We roasted marshmallows, we danced and we did all sorts of fun stuff that you would do at a barbeque! It was soo much fun.

On the last day of week 27 we (Safi, Jett, Mum, Dad, me) went on a boat ride to San Juan. In San Juan we went out to a really nice sports bar that had the most DELICIOUS BURGERS EVER! I loved it.
