Week 30: San Marcòs & Antigua

This week it was just another week in San Marcòs.

On Monday I did my distance ed school and then we went to El Buhò for lunch. And man was it delicious. MH, MH, MHH, MH, MH. I wish we could have El Buhò every day of the week!

On Tuesday we went to El Buhò, AGAIN! Maybe my wish came true? But before we had El Buhò, we went on a walk up the Indian’s Nose. It was tiring because it was steep and big, but also because MUM made us wake up a 2:30 AM! And we were only supposed to wake up at 3:00 am, but she got the time wrong! At the top it had a great view of the sunrise. So we forgave her.

On Wednesday it was just a chill day. So there isn’t much to say.

On Thursday we went to El Buhò, again. Man, my wish has definitely come true! This El Buhò was the BEST dish in the whole month! But there was some sad news for today. It was the last trivia in Lake Atítlan! WAAAAA, WAAAAAA! It’s sooo sad!

On Friday it was a very sad day. WE HAD TO SAY GOODBYE TO ALL OF OUR FRIENDS! But to make up for it, we had pizza night with all of them. And these other new people from New Zealand came too. It was a fun but sad night. Farewell friends!

On Saturday we were actually, finally saying GOODBYE SAN MARCÒS, HELLO ANTIGUA!!! It was devastating, but we got to go somewhere else that will be fun called Antigua. In Antigua we went to a brewery with amazing pizza, fun games and sooo much more cool stuff! It was awesome. Especially how we haven’t been to a brewery ever since the USA, and that was a looonnngg time ago. And then we started to head back home.

On the last day of the week we went on a walking tour. I did a scavenger hunt on the way, but I could still hear the fun facts. And this is one of the ones that I heard – Did you know that Antigua used to be the capital city of Central America?! Pretty cool. And then that was the end of the week….

Done, done DONE!

The End.

Fun facts
