On the first day of week 53 we were off of the bus and having breakfast in a nice travel cafe. For most of La Paz we were eating amazing food and exploring the amazing downtown. At breakfast I had eggs on toast, mum had a vegan bowl, and dad had a Mexican dish ๐ณ๐ฅ๐ฎ. They were all delicious ๐. Then we went for a walk through town and checked out some of the markets. Then we went to a really nice fine dining restaurant that had food like fish, pumpkin, and a lot more foods that I dis-like (A LOT). So I had some dessert and a mango. It was amazing. Then we chilled for the afternoon. After a few hours we went out for dinner at an awesome pizza place that had the best margherita pizza. I think I had at least half of a huge New York sized pizza. When the pizza was all gone I think a tear fell from my eye ๐ข. Then we went exploring in town again and went to bed.

The following day we were going to go on a really cool walking tour through La Paz. We were going to go on a gondola, get our future told and…. see…. Women wrestle each other! Yup. We were going to see the locals of La Paz wrestle each other. Anyway, first we had to go on a gondola and go through the biggest flea market in South America. It was so cool. There were so many stores, it would have been way too easy to get lost. Luckily we didn’t. Then after the stores we got to know what our future was going to be by seeing a witch doctor. I got a YES to a cat, I will have one kid, and I will get my ears pieced when I am 12. I was very happy with the yes to the cat ๐.
Then after our amazing future telling we went off to the amazing wrestling. And it was wild. There were so many interesting outfits ๐ค. There was a wolf, a random kid that did absolutely NOTHING, ladies in big traditional skirts, halloween guy and so much more. At the end it got a bit tooooooooo whacky. So then we decided to leave because it was more weird than fun. But it was still really cool. It was a VERY interesting day.

The next morning we basically just chilled and celebrated. We were celebrating because I finished school for the year ๐๐ฅณ. I got a well done from mum and dad, a nutella cookie AND a big pesto pasta. It was delicious. Then in the afternoon we went exploring La Paz in gondolas. There were so many different colours of gondolas it was quite stressful to get around. But we did it. Luckily we ended up at our hostel. The views we saw were amazing. There were mountains, cities, houses, volcanoes and so much more. It was awesome. Then we sadly had to go home and go to sleep at 6:30pm because we had a very early start the next day.
The next day we went to Panama. Panama was a big city that was awesome. It was also our traversary. That means we had been travelling for 365 days! We went to a rooftop bar to celebrate. We all got a drink each. I got a ginger drink and mum and dad got margaritas. It was delicious. Then we went to an Indian place for dinner. It had the worst vibe but best food. So we ended up in our room watching a Christmas movie and having great Indian food. It was awesome.
